Born and raised in Macau, he studied architecture in Lisbon and later completed a master's in landscape architecture at Auburn University, USA. Drawing has been a steady thread throughout — studied formally under Mio Pang Fei at the Macau Polytechnic Institute and later at Lisbon’s Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes. Since 2020, his illustration practice has revolved mostly around book covers and children's books like Mum, What is Obesity? and Em Busca do Menino Contente.

Currently based in Portugal.
